Once again!

Can you believe it? Well, here goes...today i was walking down to the bus stop..heading home after some lessons and as the bus was stopping i fell down in the street and tore a tendon or somehting in my other foot! I'm back in a splint and have to have physical therapy all week to see how bad the damage is. It's so frustrating! I can't believe i did it again...so sad. For me and for brian...he's not excited about me being out of commission and doing the rest of the Christmas shopping himself! Well...i hope it gets better soon.

Been a while!

Seems like my posts are starting to get few and far between! i guess i better remedy that huh?! Well, a ton has happened since i last posted. Brian and I have had an awesome past 2 weeks...things had gotten a little rocky before that but we've worked through what ever things we had to and it's better now. I think we get something like cabin fever. We don't have a ton of friends here yet so we just kinda hang out with eachother. But sometimes that can come back and bite you in the butt...lol...always being "up in eachothers faces." The holiday season was hard to be away from family...knowing everyone's stuffing themselves sick! On Thanksgiving day Brian and I went to go see "The War of the Worlds" at a DVD room, and then went to eat Korean food. After that we rationalized in our minds that because everyone back home is stuffin themselves we sould celebrate accordingly and go have dessert. So we headed over to Outback Steakhouse to get "the Thunder from Down Under" (chocolate and van. icecream on brownie) Personally that name totally grossed me out...i don't want to eat anything that's gonna give me thunder down under none the less eat something named that! So when we got there we thought we should first eat some cheese fries and then dessert. Well, needless to say after the huge delicious plate of fries we had no more room for dessert and couldn't bring ourselves to eat it! We're so weak now! Dennis would be so dissapointed!

We've begun our Christmas shopping. I had a blast...Brian took a little convincing but once he got the right attitude we both had fun!

Well, i can't think of anything else to write right now...i'll try to keep my posts more regular! MISS EVERYONE SO MUCH

Sometimes we need a little prodding...

So once again someones brought to my attention my lack of posting. I've been meaning to for a while, but we've been so busy by the time we get home, we just hang out and go to bed! Last night we went to "Diavolo." a kind of dance/gymnastic/i don't know kind of fusion thing. It was so much fun! You know the people who come down from the ceiling and dance with eachother...it was so beautiful. Brian suprised me with it and told me we were going and we ate at the arts center. We had such a romantic dinner...5 course!!!

2. Pumpkin Soup
3. Rib Eye Steak
4. Mousse
5. Coffee and Tea

I wish i could've taken pictures of the food!!! Everything was like 5 star presentation...awesome!

So all to say we had a great time...

So we're gettin all revved up for Christmas and can't wait to do some shopping next month and send some cool stuff to our friends..(i was going to use an exclamation point but i think i've used too many in this post so i'm refraining). We have our "Dave Ramsey." Christmas budget posted on our wall. We love Dave Ramsey.

I get my cast off on Monday and can't wait to do some real walking around. The fall colors are almost gone and I don't want to miss them...maybe i'll start some Christmas shopping!

bus sleeping

So, i finally feel like i'm acclimated to Korean Life. I fell asleep on the bus today. Usually I watch the scenery and listen to my iPod, but today i fell completly asleep...mouth open and everything. :) We've had a busy week this week, i don't really know why, but it seems like it was busy. We went to see the "Corpse Bride" yesterday. I like going to see american movies...

It's crazy but the weeks just fly by! It seems so crazy that the weekend is already here. I guess that's better than the weeks crawling! I have about 3 more weeks left with the cast on and i'm so excited to be able to walk around. The fall colors are in full swing and i really want to wander under the trees! Theres a river walk really close to our house and there are little young trees. You know the kind that the branches are just over your head. and they're all yellow. I really want to walk down that walk when my foot is better!

Tonight, Brian's going to go play poker with Gray and some other guys, Amy and i are going to get some coffee. I dont' know how late we'll be out, i hope not too late, i'm kinda tired right now from walking to work today.

the retreat!
