Today i got a big suprise! Brian came home with a big gift certificate to Samsung Plaza...well, we were going to go get some supper and brian suggested that we look at digital cameras, for when we decide to buy one...well, while we were looking brian said "why don't we just get one!" Well, i've been wanting one for a long time and i think since he just got a new ipod he wanted to get me somethin fancyfied too SOOOOO....we have an awesome-new-off-the-market-not-even-available-in-the-US-yet camera.

I think you can tell a big difference in the quality you can see all those wonderful lines all over my face in the second one!! and the color is great, plus it does video with sound!!! I'M WAY PUMPED!!!

Good times

So..we actually got to put money into the budget for spending this month...because...as soon as the transfer goes through we'll be DEBT FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! It feels so awesome! I'm so excited. So we went shopping and had a blast, i got an outfit, some tennis shoes, some unmentionables, a journal, and a monopoly game. Brian got 3 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, 2 pairs of shoes, boys somehow seem to do better buying clothes...he got great deals..mine were more expensive, but it's cool..we had fun. THEN the highlight of this week/month/year for brian...He got to buy a new ipod. Well, it's complicated...his mom sent him one for christmas, but there was some problems with the shipping so she took it back and let us have the money to buy one here! Brian's so excited. We were playing monopoly and he was listening to his ipod rather than just listening to the same songs on the computer! I'm having to teach him how to talk with headphones on though..because now everytime he tries to talk to me i practically jump out of my skin b/c he's yellin! It was funny...Anyways...it's cool though...i'm jealous b/c mine is old...but it get's the job done. Well, i just have some pictures of brian in his new clothes and with the ipod.

Kalbi Sal

We've never really gotten a hang of the old "takin pictures of ourselves" thing yet...they always stink!

Tonight was "date night." Well, our whole year here so far has been "date year," because we're basically only with eachother. But anyways, we decided to go out to eat kalbi sal tonight and it was mashisaiyo...(delicious/terrific). What you do is you cook strips of beef on a grill of hot coals brought to you. It's awesome. It's one of my favorite foods here. It can get a little expensive but it's well worth it. However, anytime we eat large portions of meat (and for us this is a large portion but it's probably about the size of a 10 0z steak between the two of us) my stomach freaks out. Our diet here has become very vegitarian (not by choice...it's just meat is expensive!). But it's all good now! After that we went to a PC Bong to play cards online together, because we've gotten highly addicted to playing spades online or with our friends, but we only have one computer between the 2 of us so we can't every play together. So we did that and then came home. We got in a teeny tiny fight and i decided to take a taxi home while brian took the subway...i didn't want to wait for it to come...the subway workers are on strike so it takes FOREVER for it to get there. Anyway...I got into the cab of a guy who said over and over how beautiful i was...little creepy...but nice to hear otherwise! It's funny the things that Korean's who know very little english will talk about...

Anyway, i took the camera with me because i've decided there aren't enough pictures of me! Soooooo...here you go...some eepa (beautiful...i learned this word tonight from the cab driver!) pictures of brian and me!

PS...brian wanted me to post that now everything is fine that we are not fighting and he also wanted you all to know that after i left to get a taxi the subway came about 5 minutes later...so .....that's what brian wanted to say! hahaha..
