waking confusion

So, a few of you know this about me...well...I have a habit of waking up in the middle of the night extremely confused. For example. I have been known to wake up around 2 or 3AM hovering over my friend with my finger pointed in her face asking her over and over again "WHO ARE YOU????" Until I finally figured out where and who I was with and apologized! Then, Brian's initiation into the world of my craziness. He woke up one late night with a searing pain in his chest, after figuring out he wasn't dying, he looked down and I was ripping his nipple off of his chest saying "What is this...it doesn't go here!" I think that is the best one.
Well, nothing that funny happened this morning, but I woke up this morning at about 8:00 totally confused as to where I was. I was thinking "this isn't my house" because the bed was in the wrong place. Then I thought..."are we in Memphis?" (where we are planning on living once we get back) and for a few moments I couldn't figure it out. Then it finally came to me...we're still here in Korea. Hmmm...soon we'll be back...I can't wait to go home! We miss it so much...Anyways...LATES!

The Cherry Blossoms are out! And Beautiful. We have a bunch of trees lining the walk on the way home, and They're so pretty. Brian wanted to take pictures on our way home from Easter service and get all artistic..you'll see what i mean......

This is Easter still...photo shoot day for Brian...I'm trying to smile, while having a cold and looking into the sun....trying not to sneeze!

He actually laid down on the ground while people were walking by to get the blossoms in the picture too..i couldn't stop laughing..

On saturday there was a singing program for Brian's school kids, and we rode back on the subway with them...these girls are so funny!

and now for the cultural thing...Here on the subway they have salesmen who come and sell stuff for $1 or $2 and they walk up and down each car. It was really strange the first time, now we're used to it but i wanted to get it on video and piture..

FOR THE FINALLY ....if you haven't already seen enough pictures of our puppy...oh wait ...we have more oh yes we do.

Some randomness...

I have some random pictures and thoughts for today.

First...why do dogs, before they eat their food, take the first bite to the total other side of the house and eat it there?

Now on to the pictures.

I've been meaning to take a picture of these kinds of signs since we arrived in Korea. The cross is to Christianity as the (yes you guessed it) Swastica is to Buddhism. Here there will be huge neon crosses that light up the sky at night right next to buildings with a big red neon Swastica! It took a long time for me to get used to seeing these signs in peoples windows, businesses, and the tops of buildings.

Fish anyone??? There have been alot of these people out lately now that it's getting warmer...but forgive me if i don't partake.. Hey i'm all for cultural experiences, but 1. i'm not a big fish fan, and 2. I'm a big stickler for cleanliness, especially when food is involved. I mean i wont even let Brian give me a hug after getting off the subway until he's washed his hands...

Spring is officially beginning...We're hitting 60*F almost on a regular basis now. I know for those of you in TN that is no big deal, but we've had a cold winter and I am ready to not have to wear my big coat. These flowers are everywhere. Apparently there's a big blossom festival sometime soon and i really want to go to it. I think it'll be beautiful.

This weekend Brian and I went to the Ballet with our friends Gray and Amy. We had a really good time, except for the fact that we had the WORST service ever from TGIFriday's....

One last thing...
Yesterday my wonderful husband ripped the tap thing out of our bathroom sink (the shower is also connected to that tap), so i had to run back and forth from the kitchen sink with buckets and pans of hot water so he could be all clean and sparkly for work! It's fixed now though.

Love y'alls...

When I say...

I read this one one of my friends (Zandy Jackson's) myspace page and i couldn't help but share it.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'.
I'm whispering "I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say ."I am a Christian,"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble,
And need CHRIST to be my guide.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak,
And need HIS strength to carry on.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed,
And need God to clean my mess.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are far too visible,
But God believes I am worth it.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches,
So I call upon His name.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not holier than thou.
I'm just a simple sinner
Who received God's good grace somehow.

The M&M's~they lie

Something i've known for quite some time now...
Mom sent us a big back of easter M&M's in our package and it's almost all gone. We say we'll just put them in a little bowl and then when you want a couple you can just grab some. I swear over the past 3 days...when ever there were some in the bowl...i feasted...They tell me i'll be happy with just two...but this is never the truth...

do they lie to you too?

Pictures

Last night we went to a BBQ with some of the parents of the kids that Brian teaches. It was awesome....the food was great (and free) and I got to meet some really cool ladies. We had a ton of fun. What they did was bring a big metal drum (like the ones you see in movies with big fires in them) and Put a fire in it and put a big slab grill over it and we all just gathered around and ate off it! It was so much fun! Here are some pics we also got a package so there s some of us opening our loot...and brian biting the top off a wrapped easter bunny...psycho
